1. The Christmas Ship Parade

Ride on the main ship with the choir, or on a follow boat for adults, or listen from shore (unless the schedule says the shore event is private) during the Christmas Ship Festival with many departure points. (December 5 – 23, 2019)

2. Snowflake Lane

Enjoy a 20-minute show of lights, music, falling snow, young dancers, and drummers in uniform on Snowflake Lane (Bellevue Way between N.E. 4th & N.E. 8th). Arrive early for the best view. Free. (every night at 7 p.m. from December 5 – 24, 2019)

3. Enchant Christmas

Enchant Christmas is a Christmas event featuring a maze where you look for Santa’s reindeer, an ice-skating rink, Christmas shops, food vendors, music, and lots of photos ops at T-Mobile Park Stadium. You choose an entrance time when buying a ticket. Children age 3 and younger are free. (4 to 11 p.m. from December 5 – 29, 2019)

4. The Gingerbread Village

Come see the elaborate displays made mostly of food at the Gingerbread Village at Sheraton Seattle Hotel. Expect lines at times. Open until 9 p.m., except 11 p.m. on Fridays & Saturdays. Free. (December 5, 2019 – Jan. 1, 2020)

5. The Nutcracker Ballet

Every December the Pacific Northwest Ballet performs The Nutcracker by George Balanchine, with a live orchestra, magnificent sets and costumes, and a huge cast in McCaw Hall. (December 6 – 28, 2019)

6. Garden d’Lights

Enjoy zillions of colorful lights and displays at Garden d’Lights in Bellevue Botanical Garden. (4:30 to 9 p.m. every night December 5 – 31, 2019)

7. Caroling Competition

Hear dozens of caroling teams sing outside Westlake Center, and then vote for your favorite at Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition, or register a team. (December 6, 2019)

8. Celtic Yuletides

Celtic Yuletide is Irish music, dance, storytelling, juggling, and songs performed by Magical Strings, with shows in Kingston, Kent, Leavenworth, Tacoma, Seattle, Mt. Vernon, and Bellevue. (December 8 – 21, 2019)

9. Charles Dickens Festival

Dickens Festival at Stadium has characters in Victorian costumes, puppet shows, dressed up dogs, music, drums, and dancers in Tacoma’s Stadium District. Also, visit Victorian Holiday Festival at the botanical conservatory via horse carriage rides. (December 14, 2019)

10. New Year’s Eve Party at the Chihuly Garden and Glass Center at Seattle Center

This New Year’s Eve pARTy includes appetizers & dessert, two drink tickets, live music and dancing, a tour of the exhibits, and a champagne toast with a view of the Space Needles fireworks through the Glasshouse ceiling at Chihuly Garden and Glass at Seattle Center for ages 21+. (December 31, 2019)
